Austrian botanical sirup
Crafted from the tender tips of young spruce, elderflower, wild lavender, and Alpine mint. A sirup that turns any drink — with or without spirits — into something worth savouring.
Botanical notes
Alpine Spruce Tip
The young wipferl — tender spring buds — harvested at peak resin. Piney, citrus-bright, unmistakably Alpine.
Elderflower
Delicate, musky-sweet blossoms from the Holunderstrauch. Floral without being cloying. The heart of the blend.
Wild Lavender
Gathered from sun-warmed slopes. Herbal, slightly camphor, with a coolness that lingers long after the last sip.
Maiwipferl was born from a simple obsession: the smell of an Austrian forest just after rain, when the fir tips have just opened and the air is sharp with resin and green.
We harvest by hand in May, when the spruce puts out its brightest, most tender new growth. Combined with elderflower from the hedgerows and lavender from rocky hillside patches, the result is a sirup that carries a whole season in every bottle.
No artificial flavours. No preservatives. Just botanicals, water, and cane sugar — cold-infused to keep every volatile note intact.
Suggested pairings
01
Maiwipferl Spritz
30 ml sirup, 150 ml sparkling water, a long strip of lemon peel over ice. The no-alcohol drink that needs no introduction.
02
Alpine Gin Tonic
20 ml sirup with a dry Austrian gin, premium tonic, and a sprig of fresh mint. The spruce note echoes the gin's botanicals perfectly.
03
Forest Sour
25 ml sirup, 45 ml vodka or mezcal, 25 ml fresh lemon juice, a white. Shake hard, strain, serve up with a lavender sprig.
